ABOUT ME I was born in Los Angeles California and relocated to Arizona in 2001 to better my life. I enjoy living the good life. I own a successful store and own and manage a few rental properties. I love to travel, dine out, watch movies and do any type of activities outdoors such as playing in the snow in Flagstaff, jet ski, ATVs, hiking, snorkel and para sail. You would never think I enjoy those type things if you looked at me and based it solely on my weight. But I do and it's fun. I would like to be in a position someday where I am able to travel the world. My favorite food is seafood particularly shrimp and calamari and one of my favorite sea food restaurants is The Chart House it's in Pacific Palisades right on the beach. I also had some good jumbo strimps when I was in Kauai Hawaii last year at Duke Canoe Club & Barefoot Bar. I also like good Italian Food. My favorite restaurant is Palazzio's in Santa Barbara California they have the best bread.
THE WEIGHT GAIN

I had a relatively happy childhood and was never overweight as a child. I did not start gaining weight until around 2001 after moving to Arizona. Even though I did not consider myself to be overweight some may say I still could have lost a few pounds or so. I weighed 135 lbs but for my short height 5'2" probably would mean I was technically overweight. It did not matter what society justifications were I was happy with my weight.
After relocating to Phoenix my menstrual cycle stopped. I would only get it once a year if that. That was the beginning of my major weight gain. I started putting on the pounds in bulk. I went from 135 to 233 lbs within 3 years of no periods, by the way 233 lbs was my highest weight. Back in 2005 I went to see a doctor regarding my monthly cycles. After several tests were completed there was no conclusions. No Answers. I was told I'm in perfect health and just need to lose some weight and was given a prescription for Provera a hormone to help your menstruation come every month. At that point my weight did dropped some. However it basically became a jagged terrain up and down 200 - 220 over the next 4 years, it never made it back to the 233 but never fell below the 200 mark either. Thereafter, my cycle stopped again early into 2009 year and that's when I decided to try something different to see if it could help me. As though I am getting older and wanted to try to conceive my first child and that was virtually impossible with the irregular cycles I was experiencing. I've tried a lot of things to reduce the weight from calorie counting, master cleanse, water fasting, cabbage soup, going to the gym and I even tried eating healthy. I always slipped up and went back to my old ways within no time. WHY I'M DOING THIS FEASTING
1. To better my health & energy levels
2. To learn a different way of eating and enjoying food
3. For weight loss
4. Mind clarity
THE SKIN RASHES
I thought that juice feasting would help with many issues I was experiencing at this point in my life. Two years ago I started getting these rashes and the doctor had no idea what it was. Some said heat rashes as though they get worst when the summer heat arrive to Arizona but then I was told it looks like Eczema. I prescribed a topical cream to make them go away. However, I did not like to use the cream as I was told the cream could make your skin thinner due to the steroids in it. So I stop using the cream and began using natural Aloe Vera and it worked just the same.
THE DIGESTIVE PROBLEM
Last year I began having these horrible pains they would last for about a week then go away. The problem was ongoing for nearly a few months before it got severe. I thought it was brought on because I had just started getting my cycles without meds. I assumed they were just really bad cramps. Well one day the pain did not go away. I was cramping so bad for about 3 weeks before it got so severe where I had to go to the hospital. I could not sit, lay, stand or walk. It felt like a string was being wrapped around something inside me and being pulled really tight. It hurt badly. After I went to emergency room the doctor took blood and my white blood cells was really high I think 17 which clearly means really bad infection so he ordered for a CAT SCAN and the results reveal I had a diverticula problem e.g. diverticulitis, diverticulosis --- That's when your colon develop these pockets on the inside the wall of the colon and food, nuts or seeds get into the pockets and block them and then infection develops in the colon. Basically I was given a couple different antibiotic and was told I could no longer eat popcorn, nuts or seeds. What did that mean for me. It meant a life change of what I can eating. No strawberries, no sesame seed buns and so many more. After all there are seeds and grains in lots of things we eat. After my emergency room visit I had a couple relapses. I learned early on that after eating chocolate I would have a immediate flare up so now I know chocolate is no good for me. I hated taken the antibiotic. I did lots of research online I found someone else who had it and they would fast on water or soup as though it gives the colon a rest. Then every morning for the next 7 days they would salt water flush out the colon to remove any blockage. So I decided to give it a try and within a few days I felt OK and I did not have to take the antibiotics after all. I was told by doctors if your diverticula problem ever gets to were antibiotics doesn't work anymore the only way to fix the problem is to have surgery to remove the bad part of the colon. 1. What causes this problem
2. Treatment
