Don't you just love yardwork?

Do you like my Mexican fan palm? Anyhow, I woke up very early this morning to plant the scrubs and mexican fan palm which I was suppose to have planted yesterday. Cleaned the backyard. Trimmed all the queen palm trees and all the shrubs. Blew all the leaves into a corner then helped Nicole pick them up. The yard looks like a new back yard. By the way I hate doing yard work.

My hands are sore it feels like I will be getting a blister on my right hand middle finger. Great the perfect finger for giving it to jerks. Yippy! Anyway Check out my yard. It's clean as it can be and no doggy poop. Don't ya just love the doggies. I do, I just wish they could pick up their own poop. lol.

I purchased 3 lantana's they are relatively cheap at lowes for a 1 gallon size. They also grow really fast and make perfect ground covers. Aren't the lantana's so pretty. I like them because they get a really pretty yellow color when in bloom season andthey are perfect addition around pools. I usually like to purchase really green plants. But it's really hot in the summer months and most evergreen plants don't live very long unless they are oleanders which are horrible plants around pools as though they drop flowers everywhere.

But if you are at all familiar you can see from the pictures I have oleanders all around my backyard simply because they stay green all year. It requires maintenence to keep the yard clean but I rather have green pretty plants instead of all desert plants. My yard is nice and clean. I love it when it's clean and I can just go chillout at the pool.
