Fasting for health purposes is actually good and healthy and gives the body a kind of rest. Juice fasting is actually a detoxification diet. It involves the intake of juice of fruits and raw vegetables and water only. Those advocating juice fasting are of the view that juices are a good source of antioxidants and vitamins and hence they detoxify the body and help in weight loss too.


Benefits of juice fasting include healing capabilities because of the increase in the intake of enzymes, vitamins and minerals by way of juices. The juices cleanse the body and help in eliminating toxins and chemical built-ups from the body. Also excess body fat is removed as there is better bowel movement and the fatty acids get transformed.


Juice fasting is considered healthy as fruits and vegetables are known to contain fibers which in turn are very effective in cleansing the body. Weight loss can be achieved by juice fasting as these fibers transform the fatty tissues and remove the excess toxins from the body. On the other hand juices provide essential nutrients and antioxidants to the body, thus being beneficial both ways. Juice fasting has been known to cure certain diseases like high blood pressure, kidney and liver diseases, leukemia, skin infections and many more. Thus vitality is achieved by going in for juice fasting.
