
As the title implies, in this article I am going to talk about a habit which is more often likely to be exhibited and experienced; overeating. Overeating is the main cause of people to get overweighed and obese. It is really common among the countries which are developed and under development. It is not something you have to be hesitated about because it seems natural phenomenon to you. What you need to do is to determine the causes for the overeating habit first. It can be due to anything. Most of the people exhibit this property when they are nervous or stressed; others tend to overeat when they are out at some restaurant and a few overeat because they are so emotionally dependent on the food.
With overeating, you tend to lose a sense of taking balanced diet. This is where the risks and health ailments come into function. If you haven't been able to recognize the reasons of overeating and it is just a random thing for you to go through, then you need to get rid of your habit as soon as possible for the purpose of quick and efficient weight loss.
Overeating occurs when one is bored and has an easy reach to the refrigerator or any of the snacking material. The key should be substitution and alteration in your habits. If you are bored, you should go for a nice walk instead of stuffing up chocolate cookies and doughnuts. Ask a friend to be an eating alternative. Whenever you feel like you are craving food badly, you should call him or her up and talk to get over the thought. This will help you getting rid of the weight you put on uselessly. 
Overeating happens when you are directly eating out from a can or a pack. You don’t have a count of the portions you are eating and digesting. You should overcome this thing by getting stuff in smaller cans or avoid eating directly through them. Serve a portion for yourself into a plate or bowl or a cup, close the lid and save the rest for the next meal.
Consider what you are eating. If you are not putting any thought into what nutrients and food values you are taking, you will put on a lot of pounds within a short span of time. Start every meal through a salad or plain vegetable with a dip. You should drink plenty of water so your body can get rid of the toxic wastes within the right time.
On weekends, which are characterized by idleness, dullness and overeating, try to do something constructive and positive about you. Spend time at a country side or call up friends for a nice barbeque. You should keep yourself motivated and determined for the most part.
To briefly describe the motive of this piece of writing I should say that stop overeating for quick & efficient weight loss.
